The Executive Committee, the Board, current members and all volunteers of IMSOM look forward to an exciting season of classical music concerts in 2011. Last year, IMSOM completed 30 years of bringing the very best in Indian classical music to the Twin Cities area. We urge you to join us in promoting Indian classical music in MN by becoming a member of IMSOM.
The membership form for 2011 is on the following page. You can send us your form via regular mail. Checks can be mailed to us at the mailing address provided on the membership form.
Some comments on the IMSOM membership program:

Membership DOES NOT imply a DONATION to IMSOM. Instead, you receive a set of passes in exchange for your membership dues, which are good for admission at any concert for the calendar year. (See the discount schedule below). Thus, membership in IMSOM is akin to buying a SEASON PASS at a substantial discount. The free passes are transferable and can be used for any IMSOM concert in the same calendar year. Members can buy additional tickets, if needed, at a reduced rate.

A portion of your membership contribution is also tax-deductible since IMSOM is a non-profit (501(c)3) organization. Your receipt will indicate the tax-deductible portion of your dues. Any additional contributions over and above the membership dues are of course fully tax-deductible.

As a member, you have an important role to play. Our members are in the driver's seat, steering the society's direction and progress in every aspect. You elect the executive committee and the board, and provide the core community support that allows IMSOM to apply for financial grants from arts agencies. Indeed, the membership program is the key to sustaining the excellent quality of musical presentations by IMSOM.
