Bol
Sequence TiReKiTe
- These sequences are intended to develop the production of
the bol sequence TiReKiTe.
- We denote the Te in TiReKiTe as Te, to dinstinguish
it from the Te of TiTe. Te is played with the third and fourth fingers together (or
the second, third and fourth in the Purab style) on the syahi and is a
closed sound.
- We denote the Ta in the sequence TiReKiTeTaKa as Ta,
to distinguish it from the Ta played on the kinar. The Ta is a closed sound produced on the dayan by striking the center of the syahi
with the index finger.
- Choose a comfortable even tempo and practice each sequence
in double tempo.
- Play each sequence 20-30 times or as many times as your
time, energy (and patience) will allow.
- The words in the sequences are indicated by grouping bols
together in a single color.
- In the tables below, each vertical bar indicates one matra
or beat. The -- in the table entries below, indicate a silent 1/2 matra.
- Please note that the sequence TiReKiTe itself is
played in double tempo (relative to the rest of the phrase).
