Sawani
Shende Sathaye is a very popular up-and-coming vocalist of her
generation. She is a student of Smt. Veena Sahastrabuddhe, a
well known
classical vocalist of international repute. Sawani
has performed in prestigious music
conferences all over India
and also toured U.S.A/Canada in 1998. She
has
received prestigious awards like Pt. Jasraj Gaurav Puraskar, Smt. Manik
Varma
Puraskar and Pt. Ramkrishnabua Vaze Puraskar. Sawani
has several cassettes and CDs to her credit.

Mr
Rohit Mujumdar is a
young, talented
and promising tabla player of this generation. At the age of 11 he was
fortunate to be accepted as a disciple by the eminent tabla maestro and
Guru Taal-Yogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. Rohit is not only
an
accompanist, but is also an
accomplished solo artist; he has performed solo concerts in many cities
in India.
Rohit
was invited to perform at the Vedic Heritage Festival in New York, U.S.A
in 2004. He has given
accompaniment to his guru in
tabla concerts at many prestigious music conferences like Taansen
Sangeet
Samaroha. He has also accompanied renowned vocalists like Pt. Ulhas
Kashalkar,
Smt. Padma Talwalkar, Sanjeev Abhyankar, Shounak Abhisheki and others.
Milind
Kulkarni is a young,
talented, and
promising harmonium player. He started learning harmonium at the age of
7 and
had several years of training in Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya under
the Gurukul
system. In addition to being a
sought-after accompanist, Milind is fast-emerging as a soloist. He has
a
Bachelor's degree in Music from the Center for Performing Arts of the University of Pune
and is working toward a Masters in Music at Kolhapur University.
He is a recipient of the Business Express Young Artist's award for the
year
2002. Milind has accompanied leading
musicians including Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Suresh Talwalkar, Pandit
Anindo
Chatterjee, Shri Sanjeev Abhyankar, Smt. Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar,
Pandit
Prabhakar Karekar, Smt. Padma Talwalka, and Shri. Ramdas Palsule, among
others. He is a regular performer for
All India Radio and Doordarshan (Indian National TV).
