Ramchandra
Joshi
Ramchandra Joshi is an established harmonium
player and he has been teaching Indian Classical
Vocal Music since last 15 years to students at
various levels of training.
Inducted to the world
of music at the tender age of 8 years by his
mother Smt Anjani Tilak from Mumbai who is
disciple of Pt Manikbua Thakursdas,
Later he was trained with Smt. Tulika
Ghosh, at Sangeet Mahabharati Music academy Mumbai
Founded by late Pt Nikhil Ghosh.
As Harmonium
accompanist, Ramchandra has accompanied many
artists like Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar, Sanhita
Nandi,Konkana Banerjee, Rahul Deshpande,Mahesh
Kale and many more.
Aqeel Bhatti
Aqeel Bhatti is a disciple of Khalifa Irshad Ali,
who is son of maestro Mian Nabi Baksh, lineage of
Punjab Gharana. He is a faculty member at
University of Pennsylvania and Swarthmore College
where he is teaching tabla in the Department of
South Asian Studies since 2005. Aqeel
maintains an active concert schedule, accompanying
many renowned vocalists from India and Pakistan.
