UP Raju (Mandolin)
A freelance carnatic musician,who is a native of PALAKOL, West Godavari Dist,ANDHRA PRADESH. Raju, underwent 7 years of rigorous training throughGurukulavaasam system from Late Sri. R.SUBBARAJU. SRI. R.SUBBARAJU ,who isalso a native of Raju’s hometown was a disciple of the legend late SRI.CHEMBAIVAIDHYANADHA BAGHAVATHAR.It was SRI R.SUBBARAJU who wasinstrumental in introducing Mandolin to the field of Indian Classical CarnaticMusic.SRI.R.SUBBARAJU,who was a vocalist used to sing and explain the nuances ofgamakas which RAJU tried in his own style to adopt the phrases on the Mandolin.For more than two decades Raju has been performing in various sabhas of Chennai andother major cities of India for different festivals. He is a regular performer at theChennai's most esteemed December season Music festival. He is also training manystudents in this unique instrument, which includes online classess for the students inCANADA,USA,SWITZERLAND. Raju,has extensively performed around the globe in the countries like SOUTH AFRICA,USA, CANADA, SINGAPORE, AUSTRALIA, DUBAI, SRILANKA, FRANCE,SWITZERLAND and GERMANY. Raju, has also achieved name and fame throughhis solo/ duo Audio cd's and cassettes under the banners of AVM, MUDHRA,SANGEETHA, HMV and GEETHA Cassettes. RAJU and his wife NAGAMANI,together they form a formidable MANDOLIN DUO. Raju, has won many awards andprizes from various esteemed Organisations. In 1997 - He was assessed as an " A" Grade artiste by the ALL INDIA RADIO, Chennai.
Nagamani Raju (Mandolin)
When most little girls at the age of 7 would be clutching a doll in their hands,little Nagamani was clutching a mandolin, using her tender fingersto learn the intricacies of this stringed instrument.Nagamani, a child prodigy,ranks on par with many carnatic Music Exponents much senior to her in years.Nagamani, who is a native of PALAKOL, West Godavari Dist, ANDHRA PRADESH, learnt mandolin under the loving and caringguidance of her uncle and mentor Sri.Mandolin U.P.RAJU. By the age of9, she was performing as a seasoned soloist in the hallowed portals of theGrand Music Sabhas of Chennai.She is the FIRST FEMALE MANDOLIN ARTISTE playing carnatic classical music. Nagamani has extensively performed around the globe in the countries like SOUTH AFRICA, USA, CANADA, SINGAPORE, AUSTRALIA,GERMANY, FRANCE and SWITZERLAND. Nagamani has also achieved name and fame through her solo/ duo Audio CD's and cassettes under the banners of KALAVARDHINI, MUDHRA, SANGEETHA and GEETHA Cassettes. Nagamani along with her mentor and husband Sri.U.P.Raju,together they form a formidable MANDOLIN DUO. Nagamani, has won many prizes and awards from various esteemed Organizations.

He was Played almost all Nadeswaram Artists like Vidwan late P. K. Madurai The past 14 years and also played with Nadaswaram Vidwan Namagiri pettai Krishnan, and played with Clarinet Everest A.K.C. Natarajan and also played with All familiar Nadaswaram Vidwans.
He Performed Classical concerts with Dr. Bala Murali Krishna and with T. H. Subash Chandran called by “Sankara” Programme.
Flute Artist Mr. Shashank and Saxophone artist Mr. Kadri Gopinath.
For the past 25 years he Performed Music concerts like Classical, Fusion, Jazz and Many country Orchestra concerts with Violin maestro Dr. L. Subramaniam in India And all over the world.
He was played a “Tala Vadhya Concerts” and Many Programmes Performed with Percussion Artist like Mirudangam Vidwan Madras A. Kannan and many popular Mirudangam artists. Ghatam Artists T.H. Vinayakaram and T.H. Subash Chandran And he played with many famous ghatam Artist. Tabala Artists Ustad Alla Rakha, Zakkir Hussain, Anindo Chatterjee, Chwopan chowdri, and many more.
N Rajaraman (Ghatam)
N.Rajaraman, disciple of Maestro Padmashri.Shri.VikkuVinayakram, havingstarted his career at the age of 16 and has been playing the ghatam forseveral leading musicians such as Dr.M.Balamurali Krishna,Shri.T.N.Krishnan, Shri.Shasang, Smt.NityashriMahadevan,Shri.Ganesh&shri.Kumaresh, Shri.N.Ramani and many other eminentartiste.N.Rajaraman traveled widely and performed in various prestigious hallssuch as Queen Elizabeth, The royal Festival Hall in London, the LincolnCentre in New York and has participated various Indian musical festivals inabroad. He has been awarded by Unesco for participating in themillennium festival in bali. Awarded as “performer award” for the year1998 from shri.krishnaganasabha, Chennai. Received the title of“VadhyakalaVipance” from Dr.Balamurali Krishna’s Trust in December2008. Received “KanchiKamakotiAsthanaVidwan” from Kanchi Mutt onSeptember 2010 and best performer award from Music academy Chennaion December’ 2014.
