Vishveshwar Nagarajan (Carnatic Flute)

Aparna Srivatsan (Violin)

N Visveshwar is an All India Radio "A" graded (one of the youngest flautist to receive it) carnatic flute artist from Chennai and currently lives in New Jersey. Since he started performing at the age of 9, he has performed around 1200 concerts in reputed sabhas and weddings in the US and India in the past 17 years.
  He is a disciple of his maternal grandfather Singanallur Ramaraja (disciple of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Palladam Sanjeev Rao)
He was awarded the "Best Instrumentalist Prize" at the age of 14, by The Madras Music Academy. He has received several other titles and awards including "Venu Gana Rathna", "Venu Ilamamani", "Vamshi Kaladhara", "Bala Kala Rathna" and is a recipient of Indian government cultural scholarship.

Directions:

  • Take I494/I694 to I94 West toward St. Cloud.
  • From I94 West:, Take the MAPLE GROVE PARKWAY / CR-30 exit- EXIT 213.
  • Turn LEFT onto MAPLE GROVE PARKWAY.
  • Turn RIGHT onto CR-30 W / 95TH AVE N. Continue to follow CR-30 W. 1.6 miles
  • Stay on CR 30 West, (Go past Walmart(Left side)/WallGreens(Right side)) to CR101 and make a right on to CR101 North (Traffic Lights).
  • Go slow, Spot a Church on the left, go past it and make a right on to 101st Ave N
  • Make a Left on to Troy Ln. The Temple is at the dead end of Troy Ln.
